(FGC), a not-for-profit behavioral healthcare organization, treats and prevents substance use disorder, as well as an array of other related problems. Since 1969, FGC's comprehensive programming has educated and guided individuals toward their full potential as productive members within their own families and our society.

Family Guidance Centers, Inc seeks to support the behavioral health of individuals, families, and communities through our commitment to innovation, accountability, and compassionate care to facilitate positive, lasting change. Essential Duties: Providing problem gambling education, screenings and referrals throughout the community served (Sangamon County) including but not limited to activations arranged as part of the Illinois sponsored "are you really winning" campaign. Providing "brief intervention" to individuals identified to have concerns regarding gambling whether the individual accepts a treatment referral or not.

Providing problem gambling education, screening, brief intervention and referral to Family Guidance Centers' patients as appropriate. Distributing gambling education materials to organizations in the community, for example, behavioral health organizations, social service organizations, establishments that have gambling such as video gaming terminals etc. Supporting patients accessing care on FGC's mobile harm reduction unit including conducting initial screening/brief intervention, arranging transportation, and ensuring ongoing engagement in treatment at a community-based provider.

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday (8:00a - 4:30p); with flexibility to support program needs Start Date: July 1st, 2026 Work Location: Sangamon County Pay Rate: $20.00 per hour Family Guidance Centers, Inc. is a Drug Free Environment (including THC and/or CBD). DCFS clearance required
