Summary: The Entry Level Warehouse/Shipping laborer is responsible for learning all basic operations of the distribution center.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities to which competency will be measured
include the following and are required for possible advancement:

  • Ability to learn how to use all company lift trucks correctly and safely.
  • Ability to learn how to enter and retrieve data from the computer system.
  • Ability to learn how to stock domestic product correctly.
  • Ability to identify and match product numbers from Pick slip(s) to cartons in location.
  • Ability to pull product from location in a timely manner. (2 and a half minutes per line item)
  • Must have above average mathematical skills.
  • Must have above average handwriting skills.
  • Must be able to work at heights of 16 to 20 feet.
  • Must be able to consistently bend and lift packages weighing on average 50 pounds.
  • Must be able to work independently.
  • Must be able to handle a fast-paced environment.
  • Must be able to self-motivate.
  • Maintain cleanliness in a prescribed manner
