Join a growing, passionate team as a Network Engineer, where you'll be a key player in upgrading and rolling out large enterprise networks. This isn't just any job - it's a chance to transform networks, design innovative solutions, and truly make your mark.
Your Role:
You'll wear many hats - analyst, designer, configurator, and implementer - as you work with customers, vendors, and internal teams. As the subject matter expert (SME), you will provide remote support during the implementation and installation of new networks.
Responsibilities:
  • Be part of an energetic Network Design team, crafting Bills of Material (Hardware and Software) for Network Devices, developing network device configurations, and testing network systems to guarantee designs fulfill customer specifications.
  • Innovate and design test plans and procedures, and author comprehensive test reports.
  • Troubleshoot the trickiest of network issues, bringing your critical thinking skills into play.
  • Recognize and rectify system design weaknesses, ensuring a secure and efficient network.
  • Maintain regular contact with senior levels of internal workgroups, fostering a collaborative environment.
Desired Qualifications:
  • Sound understanding of network engineering concepts and principles.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of TCP/IP, Network Devices, and Network Test Equipment.
  • Experience with requirements management amp; system modeling tools.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and handle complex assignments effectively.
  • Independent, self-starter, and able to execute projects with minimal direction.
Basic Qualifications:
  • Current Cisco CCNA certification (desired).
  • Extensive experience with enterprise-level network design, engineering, and administration.
  • Familiarity with networking devices such as firewalls, switches, and fabric interconnects (Cisco, Meraki, and Palo Alto).
  • Ability to interface with customer POCs to evaluate networking needs and explain technical terms to non-technical users.
  • Experience with Fiber Optic cabling and communications standards.
  • Experience with Cisco V Manage.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with Cisco ASA, Cisco Firepower, Meraki, Palo Alto, Fortinet.
  • Familiarity with Cisco Routers, Cisco Switches, Meraki product line, Fortinet Product line.
  • Experience with Cisco AP's and Wireless Controllers, Meraki Wireless.
  • Experience with NetBrain and/or other SNMP monitoring platforms.
  • Familiarity with ServiceNow.
