Job description


Provides physical therapy services to patients ranging in age to prevent, alleviate or correct physical disability, bodily dysfunction, or pain. Responsible for treating inpatients. Responsible for evaluating patient needs, establishing treatment plans and providing treatments/services accordingly. May work with patients on an individual and/or group basis using current technology, treatment techniques and modalities consistent with department and hospital policies and procedures. Supports and implements patient safety and other safety practices as appropriate. Supports and demonstrates Family Centered Care principles when interacting with patients and their families and with co-workers.
Schedule:
  • Full-time | 80 hours every two weeks | Onsite
  • Monday- Friday | 8am-4:30pm | Every 4th weekend and rotating holidays
Pay and Benefits:
  • Starting pay begins at $86,091.20 per year and increases with experience
  • Salary range: $83,886.40- $125,860.80 per year
    • Salary range is based on a 1.0 FTE, reduced FTE will result in a prorated offer rate
  • $5,000 hiring bonus and $5,000 relocation bonus

Qualifications:
  • Graduate of an accredited school of physical therapy. New or upcoming graduates welcome to apply!
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Healthcare Provider card.
  • Physical Therapist (PT) Licensed by the MN Board of Physical Therapy as a physical therapist or current temporary permit required. License required within 90 days from date of exam.
  • Prior clinical or field work experience must provide clear evidence of clinical skills consistent with basic entry level positions.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills required.

To be eligible for the hiring bonus you must be an external candidate who is hired into an eligible full-time or part-time benefited position. Previous CentraCare employees qualify if they have not worked for CentraCare for at least 9 months at the date of hire. Relocation assistance requirements: Must accept a position that offers benefits and may not have worked for CentraCare in the last 9 months. Must currently reside more than 50 miles away from Waite Park and relocate within 30 miles of Waite Park. CentraCare hiring incentives to include but not limited to, hiring and relocation bonuses may be discontinued at any time.
