Job description

Pay range: $38.00-$45.00 hourly

Relocation bonus will be offered to direct hire candidates who qualify.

What you'll do:

  • Work alongside a team of A&P Mechanics performing heavy maintenance, inspections, modifications, and repairs on Gulfstream aircraft.
  • Inspect aircraft per OEM Light or Heavy Maintenance Manuals.
  • Remove and install wheels, brakes, flight controls and riggings
  • Evaluate removed components for serviceability and document discrepancies.
  • Troubleshoot and repair airframe systems including hydraulics, landing gear, and more.
  • Interpret maintenance manuals, blueprints, and technical documents.
  • Analyze mechanical problems to determine the best repair methods.
  • Test, repair, and adjust engines, engine controls, and flight controls.
  • Check and repair fuel, oil, oxygen, heating, cooling, and pressurization systems.
  • Utilize hand tools and precision measuring instruments effectively.
  • Remove and reinstall engines from turbofan aircraft.
  • Conduct operational checks and engine runs to ensure airworthiness prior to departure.
  • Make informed decisions on maintenance techniques and troubleshooting.
  • Availability and flexibility to work overtime and weekends to support business needs.

Position Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience as an A&P Mechanic performing heavy maintenance on Gulfstream aircraft.
  • Minimum 5 years of Aircraft Maintenance Technician experience.
  • Valid FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) certifications.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.

Preferred Characteristics:

  • Minimum 7 years of experience performing heavy maintenance on Gulfstream aircraft.
  • Previous experience in an MRO or OEM Service Center environment.
  • Gulfstream factory training or equivalent type-specific training.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and attention to detail.
