Water & Fire Clean up Restoration Technician -Baton Rouge

Position Summary: 

We are looking for a dependable, motivated Mitigation/Restoration Technician to join our full-service restoration team. This role involves hands-on work in property damage cleanup, structural drying, and restoration projects. If you take pride in helping others and enjoy physical, fast-paced, and rewarding work, this position is for you. 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Perform water extraction, drying, and dehumidification services
  • Assist in fire, smoke, and odor cleanup and structural restoration
  • Conduct mold remediation following industry standards
  • Set up, monitor, and maintain restoration equipment
  • Document project details, including photos and moisture readings
  • Communicate effectively with customers, project managers, and team members
  • Follow all company safety procedures and industry best practices

Qualifications: 

  • Prior experience in mitigation, restoration, or construction preferred (training offered)
  • IICRC Certification (WRT, ASD, FSRT, AMRT) a plus
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in various environments, including confined spaces and outdoors
  • Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record required
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn
