Job Summary

The Fire Alarm Technician Helper assists experienced fire alarm technicians with the installation, inspection, testing, maintenance, and repair of commercial fire alarm systems. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to start a career in the fire protection industry.
Responsibilities

  •  Assist technicians with installing fire alarm systems and related equipment. 
  •  Help perform inspections, testing, and maintenance of fire alarm systems. 
  •  Pull wire, install conduit, mount devices, and clean up job sites. 
  •  Load, unload, and organize tools, materials, and equipment. 
  •  Read and follow basic blueprints and installation instructions. 
  •  Maintain a clean, organized company vehicle and work area. 
  •  Follow all company safety policies and OSHA regulations. 
  •  Communicate professionally with customers and coworkers. 
  •  Complete required paperwork and documentation as needed. 
Qualifications

  •  Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. 
  •  Ability to pass a background check and drug screening. 
  •  Mechanically inclined with a willingness to learn. 
  •  Basic hand tool knowledge.
  •  Reliable transportation to and from work. 
  •  Strong work ethic and positive attitude. 
Physical Requirements
