Journeyman Painter – Residential & CommercialBaggenstos & Associates, Inc. – Sonoma County, CAStarting at $32/hour (DOE)

Baggenstos & Associates, Inc. is an established painting contractor serving Sonoma County. We specialize in high-quality residential and commercial painting, from high-end finishes and specialty surfaces to repaints and detailed touch-up work. We are seeking a skilled Journeyman Painter to join our team.

This is a role for experienced professionals — not entry-level painters. We’re looking for craftsmen who work efficiently, produce clean, precise results, and take pride in their work.

What You’ll Do
  • Perform high-quality interior and exterior painting
  • Prep surfaces properly (patching, sanding, caulking, masking, taping)
  • Spray, brush, and roll finishes with professional results
  • Paint cabinets, doors, trim, walls, and ceilings
  • Protect client property and maintain clean, organized job sites
  • Work safely with proper ventilation, PPE, and equipment
  • Load/unload materials and manage tools and supplies
  • Communicate professionally with team members and clients
  • Complete jobs efficiently while maintaining high standards
What We’re Looking For
  • 15+ years experience professional painting experience (journeyman-level skill)
  • Strong attention to detail and pride in finished work
  • Experience with sprayers and fine finish work
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a crew
  • Reliable, dependable, and professional in customer environments
  • Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
  • Reliable transportation and insurance
  • Able to lift 50 lbs and work on ladders
  • Comfortable with heights
  • Ability to pass background check and pre-employment physical
Schedule
  • Full-time Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
  • Occasional evenings or weekends by arrangement
