Job Title:         Supply Management Specialist

Client:              Heavy Machine Manufacturing Company

Duration:          24 Months (Possible Extension)

Location:         Milan, IL 61264

Shift:                1st Shift (Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM)

Description:

  • Provide entry-level sourcing and supplier management support.
  • Support Enterprise Product Delivery Process (EPDP) and Enterprise Order Fulfillment Process (EOFP).
  • Assist with sourcing strategies, supplier contracts, and commodity management.
  • Analyze supplier quotations and support supplier selection based on quality, cost, lead time, and capability.
  • Perform cost reduction activities, spend analysis, and make-vs-buy evaluations.
  • Support Engineering Change Management (ECM) to implement design changes efficiently.
  • Develop inventory plans and ensure smooth material flow.
  • Resolve shipping, receiving, invoicing, and supplier payment issues.
  • Monitor supplier performance using the Achieving Excellence process.
  • Work with Quality, Engineering, and Supply Chain teams to resolve supplier issues.
  • Prepare supplier cost analysis, reports, and business documentation.
  • Analyze data using Excel, SAP, and Power BI.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and process optimization.
  • Maintain compliance with company policies and regulatory procedures.
  • Manage day-to-day supplier communications and expedite critical parts when required.
