What is Logistics SaaS?

Logistics SaaS (Software as a Service) refers to cloud-based software solutions designed to manage and optimize logistics and supply chain operations. These platforms typically offer tools for inventory management, order tracking, shipping, warehouse management, and real-time analytics. By using SaaS, companies can access the latest logistics technology without large upfront investments in hardware or software, and benefit from automatic updates and scalability. Logistics SaaS helps businesses streamline operations, reduce costs, and improve visibility across the supply chain.

How does a role in Logistics SaaS typically interact with customers and internal teams to ensure successful software implementation?

In a Logistics SaaS role, professionals often serve as a bridge between the development team, operations, and the client. They collaborate closely with customers to gather requirements, provide training, and troubleshoot issues during onboarding and ongoing use. Internally, they work with product managers, developers, and support staff to ensure that customer needs are met and that any challenges are addressed promptly. Strong communication skills, adaptability, and a customer-focused mindset are crucial for success in this dynamic, collaborative environment.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a Logistics SaaS professional, and why are they important?

To excel as a Logistics SaaS professional, you need a strong understanding of supply chain logistics, software solutions, and business process optimization, often supported by a degree in logistics, IT, or business and relevant industry experience. Familiarity with transportation management systems (TMS), warehouse management systems (WMS), cloud platforms, and SaaS deployment models is essential, along with certifications like CSCP or PMP. Exceptional problem-solving, communication, and customer relationship management skills set top performers apart in this field. These competencies are critical for implementing scalable solutions, driving user adoption, and ensuring clients achieve operational efficiency through the software.

Job description

We're hiring a SaaS Product Manager to join our leading team solving a $850B returns problem.
Imagine rebuilding how the world handles returns.
Retailers have optimized forward commerce for decades.
Returns?
Still fragmented.
Still manual.
Still destroying margin.
We're changing that.
ReturnPro is building the software operating system for reverse logistics - a platform that connects returns processing, refurbishment, resale, and recovery analytics into one unified SaaS ecosystem.
This is not maintaining a mature product.
This is building the category.
You will:
• Own the roadmap for a reverse logistics SaaS platform used by major retailers
• Translate complex supply chain workflows into scalable software
• Drive automation across returns processing, refurbishment, and recovery paths
• Work directly with engineering, UX, and operations to ship meaningful product improvements
• Turn fragmented returns data into actionable recovery intelligence
• Help transform returns from a cost center into a recovery engine
Most product managers ship features.
You will define how an entire industry runs its returns operations.
This role sits at the intersection of software, logistics, e-commerce, and recovery economics.
If you understand how to build software that solves real operational problems and can turn messy workflows into elegant product
design, apply.
If you're looking to manage a mature SaaS product with incremental improvements, this probably isn't the
role.
Let's solve returns.
Real ownership. Real impact.
