As part of its continued expansion, the company is seeking an experienced Vice President to lead its North American operations. This is a unique opportunity to shape the regional strategy, build high-performing teams and drive significant commercial growth across an established and growing business.


The Role:


Reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer, the Vice President (North America) will have full responsibility for the region's commercial performance and strategic direction. With full P&L accountability, you will lead the development and execution of the North American growth strategy while strengthening relationships with key customers, partners and stakeholders.


Key responsibilities include:


  • Developing and delivering the regional business strategy in line with global objectives.
  • Driving sustainable revenue growth through new business development, strategic account expansion and cross-selling opportunities across the wider group.
  • Leading the North American business with full ownership of financial performance, including revenue, profitability, budgeting and forecasting.
  • Building, developing and inspiring a high-performing leadership team across sales, operations and customer success.
  • Creating a collaborative, performance-driven culture that reflects the company's values and long-term vision.
  • Identifying new market opportunities, competitive trends and strategic partnerships to accelerate regional growth.
  • Leading complex commercial negotiations with major customers and partners.
  • Representing the business at industry events, conferences and executive-level customer meetings throughout North America.
  • Working closely with global leadership and cross-functional teams to ensure operational excellence, scalable processes and successful execution of strategic initiatives.


The position is based in North America, with Charlotte, North Carolina being the preferred location, and requires up to 50% regional and international travel.


Person Profile:


To succeed in this role, you will be an accomplished commercial leader with a proven track record of delivering profitable growth across North America.


You will possess:

  • Significant senior leadership experience with full P&L responsibility.
  • Extensive experience in relevant segments, which are aerosols, refinish, industrial coatings or adhesives. Retail experience is a distinct advantage.
  • A demonstrable record of developing and executing successful commercial growth strategies.
  • Strong business development expertise, including winning major accounts and leading complex negotiations.
  • Experience building, leading and developing high-performing, multi-disciplinary teams.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at Board and Executive level.
  • A strategic mindset combined with a hands-on approach to execution and operational excellence.
  • Experience working within an international organisation and collaborating across global leadership teams.
  • The ability to identify market opportunities, build strategic partnerships and position the business for sustained long-term growth.
