PDS Tech Commercial is seeking a Payroll Processing Associate to join our dynamic team in the Distribution industry. You’ll play a critical role in ensuring employees are paid accurately and on time by managing payroll processes with precision and care. In this fast-paced environment, your work impacts every corner of the business—from frontline staff to senior management. 

This is more than data entry—it’s about problem-solving, protecting sensitive information, and supporting our workforce. Your accuracy and dedication will keep our operations humming and our employees happy. 

 
 

What You’ll Do Day-to-Day 

  • Process manual check requests using Company payroll systems (training provided). 

  • Work with Time and Labor and other internal web-based applications. 

  • Communicate with internal departments and external contacts to resolve payroll issues and ensure timely processing. 

  • Maintain strict confidentiality while handling sensitive payroll data. 

  • Analyze employee statements to troubleshoot and resolve payroll discrepancies. 

  • Use 10-key calculator and keyboard efficiently for accurate data entry with minimal errors. 

  • Support payroll operations for both union and non-union wage plans (training provided). 

  • Flex schedule to meet business needs, including weekends, holidays, and overtime when required. 

  • Thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment where urgency and accuracy are key. 

 
 

Required Qualifications: 

  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Access (especially for data entry). 

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills. 

  • Excellent analytical skills and the ability to interpret and resolve payroll issues. 

  • Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and work well in a team. 

  • High energy, dependability, and a positive, can-do attitude. 

  • Comfortable working weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed. 

  • Ability to quickly adapt in a fast-changing, deadline-driven environment. 

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Previous payroll experience is a plus but not required. 

  • Experience working with union and non-union payroll plans is beneficial.

Pay Details: $15.02 to $18.78 per hour
