Client Success Analyst | Private Market Investment Operations / Finance

BIP Ventures

Atlanta, GA • On-site

Full-time

Posted 19 days ago

Job description

ABOUT BIP CAPITAL

BIP Capital is an integrated private market investment platform built to create and capture opportunities through BIP Ventures traditional venture anchor funds, an Evergreen equity BDC, and private credit offerings. With a distinctive multi-stage, multi-sector investment approach and a growing array of capital offerings, BIP Capital has generated consistent top quartile returns since 2009.

WORKING ON BIP CAPITAL’S CLIENT SUCCESS TEAM

We hire intelligent and driven individuals who value teamwork and trust, extending this mentality to positively impact investors and advisory firms, in a constant search for excellence. The Client Success team is the connective tissue between BIP Capital and the investors and advisory firms who trust us with their capital. Our clients — whether high-net-worth individuals navigating their first alternative investment or seasoned RIAs managing complex multi-vehicle allocations — expect a level of responsiveness and care that matches the quality of our investment platform. This team exists to deliver that.

We are relentlessly client-first. That means meeting investors and advisors where they are: answering questions quickly, anticipating friction before it becomes a problem, and treating every interaction as an opportunity to reinforce confidence in BIP Capital.

This is not a passive support function. The team operates at the intersection of fund operations, investor relations, and advisor enablement, requiring equal parts technical fluency and interpersonal skills. We move fast, we solve problems, and we hold ourselves to a high standard — because our clients do too.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking a full-time Client Success Analyst to join our team. This is a true entry-level opportunity and an apprenticeship-style role built for someone at the very start of their career who has a genuine interest in finance and private markets. You will work directly with the Senior Analyst and Senior Manager, supporting Level 1 investor inquiries, capital call and close tracking, account maintenance transactions, and reconciliations, and escalating more complex matters as you build your fluency in our platforms and processes.

You will not be expected to manage investor relationships independently on day one. You will be expected to show up curious, execute well on the tasks in front of you, and learn quickly, taking on real ownership as your knowledge of fund operations and investor relations grows.

This role offers a unique opportunity to build meaningful relationships with investors and advisors while developing hands-on expertise in fund operations, investor onboarding, and capital transactions. You will operate in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment and contribute directly to BIP Capital's ability to deliver a top-tier investor experience.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

The role requires a mix of interpersonal and analytical skills. As a Client Success Analyst, you will support the Client Success team across three core areas:

Capital Calls & Closes

  • Track capital call and close status for various investment vehicles; conduct investor follow-up and escalate to Senior Analyst or Senior Manager as needed.
  • Review subscription documents and supporting documentation for completeness and accuracy.
  • Perform close reconciliations, flag variances, and work with third parties to resolve discrepancies; escalate to Senior Analyst as needed.
  • Support operational coverage during peak capital cycles or team absences.

Account Maintenance & Investor Inquiries

  • Serve as the primary contact for Level 1 investor inquiries, resolving issues and routing escalations to the Senior Analyst or Senior Manager.
  • Process account maintenance transactions including transfers, distribution instruction updates, and demographic changes.
  • Assist with investor documentation requests and ensure accurate maintenance of investor records in internal systems.

Entity Creation & Operational Support

  • Support new entity creation in coordination with legal and compliance, including review of subscription packages and PPM documentation.
  • Assist with custodian onboarding for new entities and facilitate capital call processing.
  • Identify and support process improvements that enhance investor experience and operational efficiency.
  • Provide general operational support including supporting investor events, data integrity projects, and other team initiatives.

Requirements

Education and Experience

  • BS or BA required, preferably in finance, business, economics, or a related field.
  • Recent graduates who have completed internships or coursework that demonstrate a genuine interest in finance and financial operations.
  • Internship, co-op, or academic project experience in financial services, venture capital, alternative asset management, or a related field is strongly preferred.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Results-oriented with strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
  • Exceptional time management and multitasking abilities, with the capability to prioritize across multiple concurrent workflows in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to thrive in an entrepreneurial environment, working both independently and collaboratively within a dynamic team.
  • AI-forward mindset with the ability to leverage AI tools to improve productivity, streamline workflows, and enhance the client and investor experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word); familiarity with CRM or investor management systems is a plus.

Traits of Success

  • Drive to succeed complemented by empathy, curiosity, and humbleness.
  • Self-starter with strong work ethic and uncompromising personal integrity.
  • Effective, versatile, and action-oriented when it comes to problem-solving.

SUCCESS METRICS

  • At 90 Days: Develop proficiency in BIP Capital's investor platforms, fund structures, and internal workflows. Demonstrate the ability to accurately process investor transactions and handle Level 1 inquiries with minimal guidance.
  • At Six Months: Own assigned investor inquiries independently, meeting capital call and close SLAs. Achieve a low error rate on transactions, entity setups, and account maintenance; handle routine inquiry resolution without escalation.
  • At One Year: Fully integrate into the Client Success team, taking ownership of all Client Success Analyst responsibilities across the investor portfolio. Contribute to process improvements and operational initiatives that enhance investor experience and team efficiency.

Benefits

WHY JOIN BIP CAPITAL
