Operations & HR Administrative Assistant (Hybrid)

Part-time - $24.00 to $27.00/Hr

FLSA: Non-Exempt

Entry- Level

Office Location: Coconut Creek, FL (Hybrid – 3 days remote / 2 days in office)

Restaurant Locations: Wellington, Boca Raton, Fort Lauderdale, Plantation, and Pembroke Pines

Reports to: Operations Director and HR Manager

Position Summary

We are looking for an organized, detail-oriented Operations & HR Administrative Assistant to support both Restaurant Operations and Human Resources. This is an excellent opportunity for someone beginning their career in Human Resources, Business Administration, or Accounting who wants hands-on experience in multiple areas of business operations.

This position is primarily remote but requires working from our Coconut Creek office two days per week, with occasional travel to restaurant locations as needed (mileage reimbursement provided).

Operations Responsibilities

  • Assist with inventory reporting and reconciliation.
  • Review invoices and perform administrative reconciliation tasks.
  • Prepare operational reports and spreadsheets.
  • Organize and maintain company documentation.
  • Provide administrative support for various operational projects.

Human Resources Responsibilities

  • Assist with employee onboarding and new hire communications.
  • Process and maintain I-9 documentation.
  • Assist with payroll preparation and administrative support.
  • Maintain employee personnel files and HR records.
  • Distribute informational flyers, newsletters, and HR communications.
  • Update HR bulletin boards and compliance postings at the locations.
  • Respond to general HR administrative inquiries.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Associate's degree or currently pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field preferred.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word).
  • Exposure to AI and Automation
  • Ability to handle confidential information professionally.
  • Comfortable learning new software and systems.

Physical Requirements

  • Prolonged periods of sitting and working at a computer.
  • Frequent use of hands and fingers for typing and operating standard office equipment.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in person, by phone, and via email.
  • Occasionally lift and carry up to 25 pounds (office supplies, files, or training materials).
  • Ability to walk, stand, bend, and reach while organizing files, setting up materials, or visiting restaurant locations.
