Job description

Women's health group seeks medical billing specialists in the Chandler area; full-time and part-time opportunities available.
MomDoc offers great traditional and non-traditional benefits, including six-week paid sabbaticals.
Experienced medical billing specialists are encouraged to apply
Areas within the department: Patient Accounts, Bulk Appeals, Charge Posters, Payment Posters
Job Functions:
  • Answer phones and assist patients with payments and/or any questions regarding their account/balances
  • Research patient accounts as needed, in regards to denied claims and other insurance issues
  • Check patient eligibility

Preferred Skills:
Insurance knowledge in regards to copay, coinsurance, deductibles and Out of Pocket
Familiar with AHCCCS, commercial and Medicare plans
Experience with EPM and EHR Systems
Strong customer service skills
Professional demeanor
Educational requirements: Medical Billing & Coding Certificate- preferred not required

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist patients with questions about their accounts

  • Responsible for updating incorrect mailing addresses
