About the Opportunity

Soho Law Firm is not your traditional law firm. We are a fast-growing, technology-forward employment law practice built for the future of legal services. Soho offers attorneys the rare opportunity to grow alongside the organization while helping shape the future of modern legal operations.

We are at the forefront of integrating AI and advanced technology into the practice of law, creating faster, smarter, and more efficient systems that improve both attorney workflow and client outcomes. This role provides direct exposure to innovative legal technology and the opportunity to learn from some of the legal industry’s emerging leaders in AI-driven operations and automation.

We are seeking a California-barred, entry-level attorney who is eager to build a career in employment law within a high-performance, growth-oriented environment. This position is ideal for a newly licensed attorney—or someone early in their legal career—who wants meaningful hands-on experience, mentorship, and the ability to grow quickly.

At Soho, you won’t just observe cases from the sidelines. You’ll work directly with experienced attorneys and support staff on real pre-litigation employment matters while developing the practical legal skills necessary to thrive in today’s evolving legal landscape.

Why Join Us?

Exceptional Work-Life Balance

Unlike many firms in the legal industry, Soho prioritizes sustainability and quality of life. Our attorneys typically work around 40 hours per week while still handling meaningful, impactful work. We believe talented attorneys perform at their best when they have the time and energy to maintain balance outside the office. This is a culture built around long-term growth, not burnout.

Hands-On Training

Learn directly from experienced employment law attorneys while gaining real-world exposure to case strategy, negotiations, and client advocacy.

AI & Technology Exposure

Work inside one of the most forward-thinking legal environments in California, utilizing cutting-edge AI tools and operational systems that are redefining how law firms operate.

Rapid Career Growth

Join a firm in its early stages with substantial room for advancement and leadership opportunities as the organization continues to scale.

Performance Incentives

Take advantage of both monthly and annual performance bonus opportunities designed to reward contribution, growth, and results.

Supportive Team Environment

Collaborate with a highly driven, approachable, and team-oriented group that values innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Meaningful Work

Make a direct impact on clients’ lives while building a strong foundation in employment law from day one.

What You’ll Do

  • Assist with managing a docket of pre-litigation employment law cases
  • Support case evaluations and help draft demand letters and correspondence
  • Conduct legal research to support case strategy
  • Collaborate with attorneys, paralegals, and support staff
  • Participate in client communication under attorney guidance
  • Maintain organization and accuracy across case files and documentation
  • Gain exposure to AI-assisted legal workflows and technology-driven operational systems

What We’re Looking For

  • Active California Bar license in good standing (required)
  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
  • Entry-level attorney (0–3 years experience)
  • Prior legal experience (internships, clerkships, paralegal work) is a plus

Skills & Attributes

  • Strong legal writing and research skills
  • Clear and professional communication
  • Highly organized and detail-orientated
  • Eager to learn and grow within employment law
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment
  • Interest in legal innovation, operations, or AI is strong plus

Work Ethic

  • Motivated self-starter with a strong desire to develop professionally
  • Open to feedback, coaching, and continuous improvement
  • Positive, collaborative, and team-oriented mindset

This is an exceptional opportunity for an attorney looking to launch their career with a modern law firm that is deeply invested in innovation, professional development, and long-term success. At Soho, you’ll gain meaningful legal experience, direct exposure to cutting-edge legal technology, and the opportunity to build a rewarding career without sacrificing your quality of life.
