A-Line Staffing is now hiring a Phlebotomist (Bilingual English/Spanish) in Plantation, FL ! The Phlebotomist will be working for a respected healthcare organization and has career growth potential. See additional details below.

Phlebotomist Highlights The pay for this position is: $21.00 per hour Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–5:00 PM Onsite position This position is: Full-Time, Temporary (Contract-to-Hire) Responsibilities Perform phlebotomy procedures and collect blood/specimens as ordered Properly identify patients and label/band specimens accurately (including blood product transfusion processes per local blood bank policy) Verify pre-authorizations and obtain required patient consents (ABN), when applicable Process and prepare specimens for in-house testing and/or send to reference laboratories as needed Maintain accurate documentation and logs (accessioning logs, equipment records, maintenance logs, daily paperwork) Operate, maintain, and clean laboratory equipment/work areas as directed Perform waived lab testing in accordance with CLIA guidelines (including recording lot numbers for controls/calibrators/reagents) Monitor inventory and ensure supplies are viable before use; restock as needed Follow regulatory standards, OSHA requirements, and universal precautions; properly dispose of hazardous materials Maintain confidentiality and support patient flow/clinic operations as needed Requirements Phlebotomy Certification (REQUIRED) Bilingual: English/Spanish (REQUIRED) 1–3 years of experience (position is entry level) High school diploma or equivalent (recommended) Strong attention to detail, documentation skills, and patient-focused communication Benefits Available Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment.
