Job description

Well-established professional Law Firm is seeking an experienced Litigation Legal Assistant/Paralegal. The position will work with the Litigation team and support an Attorney with business transactional cases. 
Full Time Monday - Friday 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM
This position is a direct hire permanent job opportunity.
$75-85k 
Responsibilities:

  • Assist Attorney with all phases of litigation from case inception through trial.
  • Prepare and finalize pleadings in accordance with applicable State and Federal rules for filing with the court.
  • Manage the attorney's schedule and calendar for all meetings/deadlines.
  • Assist with document retrieval, review, organization, and production.
  • Maintain case pleadings, correspondence, and discovery.
  • Prepare various legal documents.
  • Maintain and use document, transcript, and work product databases.
  • Organize and prepare exhibit lists and/or privilege logs.
  • Coordinate work with outside document/litigation vendors, including adherence to strict deadlines.
  • Coordinate and assist with trial preparations, i.e., exhibits, witness binders, and demonstratives.
  • Copy, scan, and file as needed.

Required Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of litigation experience
  • Strong knowledge of Litigation, state and federal court filings.
  • Technical proficiency in Microsoft Office is required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with PerfectLaw software a plus
