Job description

Trustpoint.One is immediately hiring Claims Reviewers for our law firm client in Richmond, Virginia for an upcoming 4-6 month contract assignment, with an expected start date in June 2026, and the possibility of extension or conversion. This entry-level law firm role entails reviewing and processing claims related documentation. The related details are as follows:


  • The position is a 40 hour per week role with a standard 8:30am-5:00pm (Monday to Friday) work schedule. This is not a โ€œflextimeโ€ role, no nights or weekend work required.
  • The position is a hybrid work assignment and with two days per week of required in-office work every Tuesday and Thursday and remote the rest of the time. Prospective new hires should reside and work in the greater Richmond, VA area (or within a commutable distance) to report to the firm office on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
  • The hourly pay rate is $23/hour, paid weekly.
  • A Bachelorโ€™s degree is required for employment consideration. Paralegal certification is preferred.
  • Strong undergraduate credentials: with emphasis on research and/or internships is highly desired.
  • No prior law firm experience is required for consideration.
  • All candidates must be able to work at a computer screen for a sustained amount of time.


The job responsibilities may include data validation and review for claims administration, data entry in Excel, working with legal team members and outside counsel on the document requests, scanning, copying, filing (both hard and electronic files), and assisting attorneys with other various claims support and administrative duties.

  • Work is generally performed sitting, talking, hearing, and typing
  • This is a high-volume screen-based role, requiring constant, prolonged computer usage, including but not limited to: reviewing documents, managing visual content, and attending virtual meetings
  • Visual acuity required for computer use, data analysis, and extended reading
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
  • Frequent use of hands and fingers for typing and document handling
  • Occasional standing, walking, bending, and reaching
  • Ability to lift and carry items weighting up to 30 pounds
