Job Description
Deliver real-time simultaneous and consecutive interpretation between Korean and English across meetings, field operations, and technical discussions
Serve as the critical communication link between Korean expatriate staff and local employees, contractors, and vendors
Provide accurate technical interpretation for construction, equipment installation, and semiconductor manufacturing activities
Translate documents, emails, technical specifications, and meeting materials with precision and urgency
Respond to short-notice requests and adapt quickly to shifting priorities and schedules
Uphold strict standards of confidentiality, accuracy, and professionalism at all times
Requirements
Professional interpretation experience is required — entry-level candidates will not be considered
Demonstrated proficiency in both simultaneous and consecutive interpreting techniques
Strong background in technical translation, ideally within construction, engineering, manufacturing, or semiconductor industries
Native or near-native fluency in both Korean and English
Ability to work overtime and flexible hours as operational demands require
Highly collaborative mindset with the ability to remain composed in high-pressure, fast-changing environments
Must be eligible to work in the US (*VISA sponsorship not available)
Education
Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent professional experience in interpretation or translation will be considered.
