Customer Service Rep/ Junior Collision Advisor
BMW of DTLA | Car Pros Automotive Group
Are you looking to start or grow your career in the automotive collision industry? BMW of DTLA is seeking a motivated and customer-focused Junior Collision Advisor to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity to learn the collision repair business under experienced leadership while building a long-term career with Car Pros Automotive Group.
As a Junior Collision Advisor, you will work closely with the Collision Center Manager to learn the art of customer service, estimating, and sales while helping facilitate a seamless transition from the Service Drive to the Collision Center.
Primary Responsibilities
Damage Assessment
  • Perform initial vehicle inspections and document visible damage
  • Take high-quality photos for repair documentation and insurance purposes
  • Identify and document pre-existing, non-accident-related vehicle conditions
Blueprint & Estimating Support
  • Learn to use industry-standard software such as CCC ONE
  • Assist with preparing repair estimates
  • Help itemize parts, labor, and paint materials needed for repairs
  • Support the repair planning and blueprinting process
Customer Communication
  • Provide customers with updates regarding repair progress
  • Communicate estimated timelines for parts arrival and vehicle completion
  • Answer basic questions regarding the insurance claims process
  • Deliver a professional and customer-focused experience throughout the repair process
Quality Control Assistance
  • Help verify repairs are completed to customer expectations
  • Assist in ensuring repairs meet Original Manufacturer standards and quality requirements

Compensation
Estimated Pay Range:
  • Entry Level (No Automotive Background): $20.00/hour
  • 1-3 Years of Experience: $22.00 - $25.00/hour
