We are looking for a Quality Process Engineer to join Kaiser Aluminum Warrick Operations in Newburgh, Indiana!
This position is accountable for rapid disposition of material, process improvement, practice optimization, and problem-solving. The principal challenge of this position is to identify and drive process improvements that prevent problems, improve efficiencies, and reduce variation. When required, this position will develop solutions to process problems of moderate scope and lead the implementation of these solutions in an economical, timely, and safe fashion.

What you will work on:
  • Improve product quality and problem-solve customer and internal quality concerns
  • Review and disposition production defects
  • Develop practices and/or procedures that result in process efficiencies and improved quality
  • Perform statistical analysis of process issues

  • Subject matter expert on all area inspection methods and reactions

About you:
  • Bachelor's degree in Metallurgy, Material Science, Engineering, or Quality
  • Ability to function in a Team environment
