Purpose and Scope:
The Concept Intern is responsible for supporting Concept Design and Team in the building of concepts, gathering of inspirational prototypes, and is a key component in the execution of showroom setup.
Key Responsibilities:
โ€ข Assisting in seasonal concept design
โ€ข Researching trends, pattern, print, color, silhouettes at concept stage
โ€ข Seek all inspirational tear sheets to drive concepts as well as silhouette designs.
โ€ข Must be able to complete a Runway Trend Report
โ€ข Assist in preparation for design meetings
โ€ข Assist in Pulling Color palette
Qualifications
โ€ข Currently enrolled in a Design program at a University level
โ€ข Minimum of 1 year professional experience
โ€ข Strong communication skills
โ€ข Knowledge in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Outlook.
โ€ข CAD experience - Illustrator, Photoshop & InDesign a must
โ€ข A mature individual with strong administrative experience who is able to appreciate and understand the creative process.
โ€ข Must possess strong creative abilities, and a superior, finely tuned fashion sense, which must be balanced with equally impressive analytical, organizational and problem solving capabilities
โ€ข Must be able to work with Deadlines
โ€ข Must be able to multi-task in a fast paced environment
โ€ข Must be a team player with excellent interpersonal and communication
