Purpose and Scope:

The Concept Intern is responsible for supporting Concept Design and Team in the building of concepts, gathering of inspirational prototypes, and is a key component in the execution of showroom setup.

Key Responsibilities:

Assisting in seasonal concept design

Researching trends, pattern, print, color, silhouettes at concept stage

Seek all inspirational tear sheets to drive concepts as well as silhouette designs.

Must be able to complete a Runway Trend Report

Assist in preparation for design meetings

Assist in Pulling Color palette

Qualifications

Currently enrolled in a Design program at a University level

Minimum of 1 year professional experience

Strong communication skills

Knowledge in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Outlook.

CAD experience - Illustrator, Photoshop & InDesign a must

A mature individual with strong administrative experience who is able to appreciate and understand the creative process.

Must possess strong creative abilities, and a superior, finely tuned fashion sense, which must be balanced with equally impressive analytical, organizational and problem solving capabilities

Must be able to work with Deadlines

Must be able to multi-task in a fast paced environment

Must be a team player with excellent interpersonal and communication
