Job Summary:
Motion Industries is seeking an IT Support I to help safeguard the integrity and security of their IT infrastructure. The role involves triaging, troubleshooting, documenting, and resolving a wide range of IT issues while providing support to the field.
Responsibilities:
โ€ข Develops knowledge of technical support solutions and learns to identify more unusual problems with desktop, laptop, and networked systems.
โ€ข Fields IT Support calls and tickets.
โ€ข Provides IT Support and Onboarding related tasks and projects.
โ€ข Research, documents, and troubleshoots advanced issues.
โ€ข Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Required:
โ€ข Typically requires a bachelor's degree and zero (0) years of related experience or an equivalent combination.
โ€ข Proven ability to operate as a primary contact for a wide range of IT support issues.
โ€ข Ability to adapt to new challenges, identify and evaluate potential impact and prioritize accordingly.
โ€ข Ability to digest, understand and apply new technical information and concepts quickly.
โ€ข Ability to communicate clearly across multiple mediums with endpoints possessing a wide range of technical understanding to organize efforts to resolve issues.
โ€ข Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
โ€ข Developed customer service skills.
โ€ข Intermediate technical skills.
โ€ข Understands potential to be required to be on-call on nights or weekends or work weekends and night shifts.
