Job description

Position Summary:
The Human Resource Assistant is responsible for supporting the HR department with personnel administration, employee records, compliance, onboarding, training coordination, interviewing, and other HR-related functions.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with new employee orientation and onboarding
  • Communicate effectively with employees, management, and HR staff
  • Support the HR team with special projects as assigned
  • Assist with staffing and recruiting activities
  • Maintain accurate employee files and records
  • Perform other HR-related duties as assigned
Required Skills & Experience:
  • Proficiency with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office applications
  • Ability to learn new systems quickly and improve efficiencies
  • Excellent follow-up and organizational skills with the ability to see tasks through to completion
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with exceptional attention to detail
Logistics:
  • Fully onsite: Enfield CT
  • Schedule: Monday-Friday 9am-4pm
  • Project until January with potential to extend
  • Compensation: $21.00 per hour
