Human Resources Administrator

Sandvik Mining is a business area within the Sandvik Group and a leading global supplier of equipment, tools, service, and technical solutions for the mining industry. The product offering covers rock drilling, rock cutting, rock crushing, loading and hauling and materials handling.

Job Purpose

The Human Resources Administrator supports the Human Resources team, the coordination of HR information and training, and supports HR projects.

Main Responsibilities

  • Provides administrative support to the HR team
  • Ensure HR data and systems integrity
  • Process unemployment claims
  • Liaises with HRS to ensure compliance with administrative processes
  • May conduct orientation for new hires
  • Review and code Human Resources invoices
  • Support Human Resources annual processes
  • Maintain all site bulletin boards for legal compliance
  • Respond to enquiries and assist employees to complete necessary forms
  • Monthly and quarterly reporting
  • Update job descriptions as needed.
  • Support HR training, development and competency efforts
  • Handle high volume admin tasks such as onboarding, offboarding and status changes
  • Complete exit interviews
  • Support project management administration

Minimum Qualifications:

  • At least 1 year of experience in administration within a Human Resources Department
  • Experience within an HRIS
  • Experience managing projects from start to finish
  • Exposure to process improvements
  • Understanding of the HR employee lifecycle

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources or related field
  • Experienced with Workday

Compensation

Expected compensation for this role is between $54,000 to $65,000.
