The Plex is your premier destination for family fun, event planning, sports, dining, parties, and more. Our 3 operating businesses (The Plex Athletic Club, Sports, and The Penalty Box Bar and Grill) offers 240,000 square feet of entertainment space under one roof where you will find everything you need for fun, fitness, family activities, food & beverage, parties, and social events. Open 7-days a week, our facility offers an arcade of games, bocce ball, bouncy houses, wall climbing, cornhole, darts, pizza, sushi, tapas, a vast beer wall and so much more.

Job Summary:

Under direct supervision, the housekeeper is responsible for ensuring their assigned areas are clean, neat, well maintained, fully stocked, fully operational and safe meeting the Plex’s cleanliness standards. Complete all cleaning or repair duties while minimizing impact on members’ full enjoyment of our facilities, or customers’ and members’ full enjoyment of facilities.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Perform general cleaning tasks, including dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and scrubbing surfaces following The Plex’s cleanliness quality standard.
  • Clean and sanitize bathrooms, and common areas. Follow and complete all housekeeping, cleaning, or repair duty checklists and/or assignments.
  • Wash, dry, fold, towels as required.
  • Replace towels, and toiletries as needed.
  • Make sure all cleaning supplies, solutions, chemicals, etc. are used and stored properly and carefully; follow guidelines and precautions on MSD sheets.
  • Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste materials in a sanitary manner.
  • Sort and recycle materials following established guidelines.
  • Make sure all housekeeping equipment, tools, appliances, and machinery are used, operated and stored properly and carefully.
  • Report any broken equipment, machinery, tools, etc. to the Housekeeping Supervisor or Operations Director
  • Follow all Plex and OSHA safety guidelines.
  • Be accessible to members and available to service or help them with any questions or problems.
  • Be aggressively hospitable with members and guests; offer greetings and be available to help when requested.
  • Report any incidents, accidents, or concerns promptly.
  • Other responsibilities as assigned by the Housekeeping Supervisor or Operations Director
