About the Job

In this role, the Histology Tech will support the delivery of patient care by performing histology techniques that are utilized in the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of disease.

What You'll Do

  • Performs histology processing including embedding, microtomy and manual/automated staining in accordance with standard operating procedures and accreditation requirements. Demonstrates the organizational skills required to complete work assignments within the time scheduled.

What'll Need

Required:

  • High School Diploma plus training acquired through work experience or education
  • 1-2 years of previous job-related experience
  • Experience Embedding, cutting with IHC or special staining

Preferred:

  • Associate's Degree OR equivalent training acquired via work experience or education

Licensure/Certifications:

  • Registered HT or HTL (ASCP)

Compensation:

Pay Range: $25.00 - 39.60 USD Hourly

Actual compensation will fall within the range but may vary based on factors such as experience, qualifications, education, location, licensure, certification requirements, and comparisons to colleagues in similar roles.
