Lorenz Bus Service is a diversified transportation company located in Blaine, MN; it is one of the leading motor coach, shuttle bus, and school bus providers in the Twin Cities. With our continued growth and demand for service, Lorenz Bus Service, Inc. is looking to hire talented bus drivers. We understand our drivers are at the heart of everything we do and they are responsible for providing exceptional customer service.


Our company is the charter motor coach provider of the University of Minnesota Athletics Department, the University of St Thomas Athletics department, the Minnesota Vikings, the Minnesota Twins, the Minnesota Wild, and the vast majority of incoming visiting and collegiate Big 10 sports teams.


We are presently looking for part-time drivers to drive collegiate athletics teams, including the University of Minnesota Football team. The University of Minnesota Football team requests consistent drivers who can work most Fridays and Saturdays during the college football season (August through November.) We provide motor coach service to/from the University of Minnesota to the local hotel and airport each week.

Requirements:

  • Possess excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to act in a courteous and professional manner at all times
  • Patience and the ability to maintain professionalism while adapting to changing situations
  • Having a smart phone or tablet will help simplify your job
  • Valid commercial drivers' license with school bus endorsement
  • Current and valid DOT medical card
  • Must pass pre-employment DOT drug test and criminal history background check
  • Favorable driving record with experience. If not, willingness to complete Lorenz's entry level driver training program
  • Have a glass is half full mentality, with a passion for serving others
  • Team Player - reliable, honest, take initiative and be committed to putting the team's objectives above your own
  • Ability to work independently and exercise sound judgement
  • Ability to work outside in all types of weather
