Football Co-Op
HIGH SCHOOL VOLUNTEER FOOTBALL COACH


The Brandywine Heights Area School District, in collaboration with the Kutztown Area School District, is accepting applications for a High School Volunteer Football Coach to assist the Kutztown Football team. KASD and BHASD share a common vision for the growth of the program and the intent of maximizing the opportunity for participation for both Kutztown and Brandywine athletes. 
As a staff member of the Athletic Department, under the direction of the Athletic Director, the volunteer coach will supervise all training, practices, and instructional sessions; performance and conduct of athletes; assist in the cultivation and maintenance of a positive team culture and provide a positive experience for the student-athletes conducive to interscholastic sports in an educational setting, and fulfill other duties associated with the team and athletes as designated by the Athletic Director. 


Qualifications
    High School diploma or equivalent necessary
    High School varsity level coaching in the direct sport preferred
    Evidence of effective leadership of a scholastic squad (Varsity, JV, Junior High) preferred
    Ability to articulate a vision for building/enhancing the scholastic program, including effective collaboration with community programs
    Excellent communication and problem solving skills required

    Current Act 34 PA Criminal History background check
    Current Act 114 Federal Criminal history background check
    Current Act 151 Child Abuse background check
    Current Act 24 Arrest/ Conviction Report and Certification Form
    Negative TB Test
