Are you a detail-oriented finance professional with strong accounting fundamentals and a knack for numbers? We are seeking a Financial Analyst / Finance Clerk to support our regional finance operations, assist with P&L review, track vendor spending, and ensure accurate financial recordkeeping!

In this role, you will handle key daily administrative finance tasks—verifying general ledger entries, auditing statements, and keeping our regional cost files organized—while supporting broader financial analysis and reporting.

Qualifications & Requirements:
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years of financial analysis, bookkeeping, or finance clerk experience (CPA certification or familiarity with corporate sales and administrative procedures is a plus!).

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical work experience in finance, accounting, or business administration.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • GL & Expense Verification: Review and verify accurate General Ledger (GL) coding for sales and expenses; perform monthly reconciliations of non-inventory purchasing statements (P-card statements, A/P distribution reports, and unmatched POs/receiving reports).

  • Cost Tracking & Vendor Audit: Track and analyze procurement pricing, vendor fees (hazmat, fuel surcharges, freight), and spend volumes across regional locations to help identify cost-saving opportunities.

  • P&L & Variance Support: Assist in gathering data for monthly, quarterly, and annual results; help investigate P&L variances; and update regional forecast files.

  • Pricing & Data Maintenance: Maintain customer value and profitability files (tracking purchasing trends, freight/rental line items, and cylinder turn times) to support sales and management with pricing updates.

  • Reporting & Compliance: Generate routine financial reports, conduct facility safety/compliance audits, and actively support corporate administrative initiatives.
