Job Title: Bookkeeper

Company is seeking an organized, motivated, and detail-oriented HR/Marketing Assistant to support day-to-day human resources functions while assisting with recruitment marketing initiatives. This entry-level role is ideal for someone early in their HR career who is eager to learn, grow, and develop their knowledge of recruiting, employee relations, and HR administration.

The HR/Marketing Assistant will play a key role in attracting talent, maintaining recruiting platforms, assisting with candidate screening, and supporting various HR processes including benefits administration and workers' compensation claims.

  • Assist with recruiting efforts, including posting jobs, reviewing resumes, conducting candidate pre-screens, scheduling interviews, and supporting onboarding activities.
  • Maintain and update Indeed, LinkedIn, and other recruiting platforms to promote open positions and strengthen the company’s employer brand.
  • Manage applicant and employee information within company systems, ensuring records remain accurate and up to date.
  • Support HR administration, including employee file maintenance, benefits and insurance coordination, workers' compensation claims, and general HR compliance activities.
  • Create and post recruiting-related content and assist with initiatives that attract and engage candidates.
  • Provide administrative support for HR projects and serve as a resource for employee and candidate inquiries.

Qualifications:

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Marketing, Business, or a related field preferred.
  • 0-2 years of experience in HR, recruiting, marketing, or administrative support.
  • Familiarity with LinkedIn, Indeed, social media platforms, and Microsoft Office.
  • Strong communication, organization, and multitasking skills.
  • Eagerness to learn and grow within the Human Resources field.

Work Environment

The position offers a dynamic work environment where adaptability is key. The successful candidate will be working closely with the director, utilizing technologies such as Excel and potentially Paylocity. The role requires a flexible approach to tasks, fostering a supportive and detail-oriented atmosphere.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Brecksville, OH.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $27.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
