About the Role:
Join PACIFIC TEXTURING AND LASER INC as a Plastic Injection Mold Texturing Technician in Riverside, CA! This exciting opportunity allows you to work with cutting-edge technology in a dynamic environment, where your skills will contribute to creating high-quality textured molds. Anything made from plastic comes from a mold. Automotive, medical, aerospace, consumer items such as electronics or toys etc. We work with the metal molds themselves to add any industry standard cosmetic/ functional textures as per our customer's design.
Entry level applicants welcome - training provided. This is a niche industry so prior experience is hard to come by.
Advertised salary mid range of what we are willing to offer for a technician with SPECIFICALLY mold texturing experience. Willing to adjust depending on experience/mold texturing resume.
Responsibilities:
  • Apply various texturing techniques to achieve desired surface finishes on molds.
  • Conduct quality inspections to ensure texture meet specifications and standards according to provided drawings.
  • Maintain equipment and perform routine maintenance to ensure optimal performance.
  • Document production processes and maintain accurate records of work performed.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  • Assist in troubleshooting and resolving technical challenges as they arise.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in plastic injection molding or mold texturing (for higher level offer - entry level applicants welcome and we train.)
  • Strong understanding of mold design and manufacturing processes huge plus.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and precision.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a team environment.
  • Strong communication skills and a positive attitude.
