Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Line Cook to join our fast-paced brewery kitchen team. As a Line Cook, you will play a key role in preparing high-quality, brewery-inspired pub fare that complements our award-winning craft beers. You’ll work on a busy line during peak hours, maintain consistency in taste and presentation, and contribute to an energetic, team-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes, portion standards, and presentation guidelines
  • Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies (proteins, sauces, vegetables, etc.)
  • Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff (grill, sauté, fry, and expediting as needed)
  • Ensure food comes out simultaneously, in high quality, and in a timely manner
  • Maintain a clean and sanitary workstation including equipment, countertops, and refrigeration
  • Follow proper plate presentation and garnish set-up for all dishes
  • Comply with all health and safety regulations, including proper food handling, sanitation, and storage
  • Assist in food prep during off-peak periods (butchering, sauces, dressings, etc.)
  • Rotate and label inventory using FIFO method
  • Taste and season food appropriately throughout the shift
  • Work cleanly and efficiently in a high-volume environment
  • Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service
Requirements & Qualifications
  • 1–3 years of experience as a line cook, prep cook, or similar role in a high-volume restaurant or brewpub (preferred)
  • Strong knowledge of professional cooking techniques and equipment (grill, fryer, sauté, etc.)
  • Ability to work all stations (grill, sauté, fry, cold side, etc.)
  • Understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures
  • Familiarity with food safety practices (ServSafe certification a plus)
  • Ability to stand for 8+ hours and lift up to 50 lbs
  • Must be able to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Positive attitude and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
  • Passion for craft beer and pub-style cuisine is a huge plus
Physical Demands
