Job Summary:
Harris Computer is one of the largest healthcare information technology companies, and they are seeking an entry-level IT Computer Operator. The role involves monitoring and controlling computer systems, ensuring hardware and software operate efficiently, and providing support for daily IT operations and troubleshooting.
Responsibilities:
โ€ข Monitor computer systems, servers, and networks to ensure smooth operation
โ€ข Execute scheduled tasks such as backups, batch jobs, and system updates
โ€ข Respond to system alerts, errors, and outages in a timely manner
โ€ข Maintain logs of system performance, errors, and activities
โ€ข Perform routine hardware and software maintenance
โ€ข Assist in troubleshooting technical issues and escalate when necessary
โ€ข Assist in resolving support calls escalated by the Service Desk
