About the Role

We're seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Associate Compensation Analyst to join our HR Compensation team. In this entry-level role, you'll support compensation programs by analyzing market data, maintaining compensation records, preparing reports, and assisting with annual compensation processes. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with data, solving problems, and building a career in Compensation.

What You'll Do

  • Analyze compensation survey data and assist with market pricing and benchmarking.
  • Maintain and audit compensation data to ensure accuracy and integrity across HR systems.
  • Prepare reports, dashboards, and analyses to support compensation decisions, pay equity reviews, and program effectiveness.
  • Support annual merit, bonus, and promotion cycles through data preparation, validation, and reporting.
  • Assist with administration of salary structures, job architecture, and other compensation programs.
  • Partner with HR and business leaders to provide compensation support and respond to compensation-related inquiries.
  • Develop presentations, documentation, and communication materials for compensation initiatives.

What You'll Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field.
  • 2 years of experience in compensation, HR, finance, analytics, or a related field (internship experience welcomed).
  • Strong analytical skills with exceptional attention to detail and data accuracy.
  • Advanced Excel skills, including formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and communicate effectively with a variety of stakeholders.
  • Experience with HRIS systems (Workday, SAP, Oracle) and data visualization tools (Power BI or Tableau) is a plus.

This role can based in Baltimore, MD or St Petersburg, FL and operates under a hybrid working model, blending in-office collaboration with remote work flexibility.

Compensation Range: Franklin Templeton offers employees a competitive and valuable range of total rewards-monetary and non-monetary - designed to support their well-being and recognize their time, talents, and results.
