Job description

Tharros supports the Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD) Support Equipment Department (SED) in Lakehurst, NJ. NAWCAD Lakehurst serves as the primary authority for Navy Aircraft Platform Support Equipment (SE) and supports numerous Foreign Military Sales (FMS) programs.

We are seeking aLogistician with entry level experience, focused on providing logistics support to the Department of Defense (DoD) aircraft SE logistics programs, including FMS. As a contributor, the junior Logistician will be instrumental in optimizing operational effectiveness and delivering strategic solutions in aviation support operations.

  • Analyze and coordinate logistical functions across the entire product life cycle, including acquisition, distribution, internal allocation, delivery, and resource disposal.
  • Assists with logistics, technical, or business case analyses to resolve complex problems.
  • Participates in meetings and supports logistics programs, project status and tasks, prepares presentations, reports, studies, and logistics documentation.
  • Perform tasks under supervision while adhering to strategic guidelines.
