Job description

Who We Are

At Moxxi, we're redefining performance marketing with cutting-edge technology and a relentless focus on results. As a profitable, bootstrapped start-up, we are led by a team of industry veterans in performance marketing, ad tech, and digital publishing. Together, we're building the premier platform to incubate, scale, and optimize digitally born businesses, setting new standards for data-driven success.

Our entrepreneurial team brings proven experience from both global corporations and fast-growing startups. We're passionate about delivering scalable, profitable outcomes for our partners through advanced profiling, targeting, and continuous optimization. Joining Moxxi means becoming part of a growing start-up in the heart of NYC, where you'll have the opportunity to accelerate your career, expand your skill set, and shape the future of performance marketing.

The Role:

We're looking for a Junior Campaign Specialist—someone excited about digital advertising and eager to dive into the mechanics of campaign optimization. This is an entry-level role designed for someone who wants to learn how campaigns operate end-to-end while using data to make a real impact on performance outcomes.

This is a launchpad role. You'll gain broad exposure across campaign operations, data analysis, creative testing, and client strategy—giving you the foundation to discover where your strengths and interests lie. Whether you eventually gravitate toward analytics, account management, product, or deeper optimization work, this role will help you find your path.

You'll work closely with experienced marketers who will mentor you as you assist with campaign setup, performance monitoring, and data-driven optimization recommendations. Your contributions will be immediately visible and directly tied to measurable results.

What You'll Do:

Campaign Optimization & Performance

  • Monitor daily campaign performance and use data to identify opportunities for improvement
  • Analyze pacing, budget allocation, and core KPIs (CTR, CPC, conversion rates, ROAS)
  • Support A/B testing initiatives—creative variations, audience segments, bidding strategies
  • Recommend and implement tactical optimizations based on performance data
  • Identify patterns and trends that inform larger strategic decisions

Data Analysis & Reporting

  • Pull, organize, and analyze performance data from multiple platforms and internal tools
  • Build and maintain dashboards that surface actionable insights
  • Prepare clear performance summaries that connect data to recommendations
  • Develop fluency in the metrics that drive campaign and business success
  • Ensure data accuracy and flag discrepancies when numbers don't align

Campaign Execution & Operations

  • Assist with setting up digital campaigns across platforms
  • Support tagging, pixel implementation, and tracking setup
  • QA data flows to ensure accurate measurement and attribution

Cross-Functional Exposure

  • Collaborate with campaign managers, analysts, and account leads to understand client goals and business priorities
  • Learn how data-driven optimization decisions connect to broader revenue and yield objectives
  • Gain visibility into how different functions—media, analytics, product, client services—work together
Who You Are:
  • 0–2 years of experience (or relevant internships) in marketing, advertising, analytics, or related fields
  • Genuinely curious about data—you like digging into numbers to understand what's happening and why
  • Comfortable with Excel or Google Sheets—you can organize data, build formulas, and spot trends
  • Strong communicator who can translate data into clear insights and recommendations
  • Eager to learn new tools and troubleshoot when things don't go as planned
  • Interested in leveraging AI and modern tools to work smarter (experience not required—curiosity is)
Nice to Have:
  • Exposure to ad platforms like Google Ads, Meta, TikTok, or programmatic DSPs
  • Experience with analytics or BI tools (Google Analytics, Looker, Tableau, etc.)
  • Basic understanding of performance metrics and what drives them
  • Familiarity with SQL or interest in learning it
Why You'll Love This Role:
  • Data-driven environment: You'll use data daily to inform decisions and measure impact
  • Optimization-first culture: Testing, learning, and improving is the daily rhythm—not an afterthought
  • Broad exposure: Touch multiple areas of the business and figure out what excites you most
  • Real mentorship: Learn directly from experienced marketers who've scaled campaigns and built businesses
  • Career foundation: Build skills that translate into campaign management, analytics, product, account management, or wherever your interests take you
Salary Range
$60,000—$65,000 USD
