Job description

We are a professional staffing firm, working with organizations across the country to place exceptional candidates. Currently, we have an Accounting Analyst opportunity with the nation's leading provider of title insurance and transaction services, known for financial strength, stability, and a culture of innovation. The Accounting Analyst is responsible for the specific duties listed below.
Your specific duties will include:

  • Manage incoming emails to the general inbox and process a variety of requests across multiple functions.
  • Perform basic accounting functions requiring knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and reconciliation functions.
  • Perform entry-level bookkeeping, index daily bookkeeping records and miscellaneous accounting documents, and conduct bookkeeping audits.
  • Post journal or voucher entries, reconcile accounts, check for accuracy, and verify, sort, and post claims, bills, invoices, and vouchers.
  • Research trust reconciliations top sheets and process necessary corrections.
  • Answer customer inquiries and research problems or complaints.

Required qualifications for the position include:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 1 to 3 years of related experience.
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Strong mathematical, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with excellent attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred qualifications for the position include:

  • Minimum of 1–2 years of experience in an accounting, bookkeeping, banking, or general office environment.
  • Specific banking or bookkeeping experience is advantageous.

Pay Rate: $17.54 per hour
