Currently, we have an Accounting Analyst opportunity with the nation's leading provider of title insurance and transaction services, known for financial strength, stability, and a culture of innovation. The Accounting Analyst is responsible for the specific duties listed below.
Your specific duties will include:
- Manage incoming emails to the general inbox and process a variety of requests across multiple functions.
- Perform basic accounting functions requiring knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and reconciliation functions.
- Perform entry-level bookkeeping, index daily bookkeeping records and miscellaneous accounting documents, and conduct bookkeeping audits.
- Post journal or voucher entries, reconcile accounts, check for accuracy, and verify, sort, and post claims, bills, invoices, and vouchers.
- Research trust reconciliations top sheets and process necessary corrections.
- Answer customer inquiries and research problems or complaints.
Required qualifications for the position include:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 1 to 3 years of related experience.
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Strong mathematical, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with excellent attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred qualifications for the position include:
- Minimum of 1–2 years of experience in an accounting, bookkeeping, banking, or general office environment.
- Specific banking or bookkeeping experience is advantageous.
Pay Rate: $17.54 per hour
Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Employees have access to healthcare benefits including medical, dental and vision as well as a 401(k) plan.
