Job Title - Project Manager Co-op
Work Location - Cranbury NJ (On-site)
Job Summary
The Co-op - Project Management Support role is designed for students who are interested in biologics development, pharmaceutical operations, and project management. This role will support Project Managers in coordinating cross-functional activities, tracking operational progress, and maintaining effective communication across internal teams.
Responsibilities
  • Support Project Managers in daily coordination of biologics development projects and operational activities.
  • Develop and manage low-complexity project in respect of scope, timeline, budget, quality, communication, risk, procurement, stakeholders in accordance of the mission and goals of WuXi Biologics and clients.
  • Coordinate the internal and external resource, and participate in process improvement initiatives and operational excellence activities to improve team efficiency and workflow management.Assist in maintaining project databases, dashboards, and project management tools.
  • Support scheduling and organization of internal meetings, client meetings, teleconferences, and site visit activities.
  • Perform additional operational and project coordination tasks assigned by the Project Management team.

Qualifications (please do not mix the Technical Skills with the Soft Skills)
  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Biology, Biotechnology, Biochemical Engineering, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chemistry, Engineering, Business, or related disciplines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams.
  • Previous internship, co-op, research lab, student organization, or operational support experience is preferred but not required.
  • Experience in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, healthcare, or manufacturing environments is a plus.
  • Ability to collect, process, and analyze project and operational data to support project tracking, revenue monitoring, and management reporting. Familiarity with data visualization or reporting tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI, Microsoft Project, or similar platforms) is a plus.
  • Basic understanding of biologics development, pharmaceutical manufacturing, or CMC-related workflows is preferred.
  • Excellent communication skill with problem solving capability is a must. Capability of working in a highly diverse team in both culture and technical background is required.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and Chinese will be a strong plus but not mandatory.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and maintain attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
  • Fast learner with a strong willingness to continuously improve project management and technical knowledge.

The hourly rate for this position is $20 - $30hr (based on educational level)
