Project Management Trainee – Commercial Construction (Entry Level) Door Solutions Inc. | Camarillo, CA

Looking to Start a Career in Commercial Construction Project Management?

Door Solutions Inc. is a Camarillo-based company specializing in the procurement and installation of commercial doors, frames, and hardware. We are seeking motivated and detail-oriented Trainees to join and support our growing Project Management Team at our Camarillo, CA office.

Full-time, entry-level positions — no prior experience required, although good computer skill (especially Excel and Adobe PDF) is a must.

What You Will be Trained to Do:

  • Review architectural blueprints and specifications to determine project scope and requirements
  • Conduct job site walks to assess existing field conditions prior to bidding
  • Prepare competitive bids based on the architectural plans, specifications, and existing site conditions
  • Upon contract award, prepare submittal – setting forth project scope and materials cut-sheets – for architect’s review and approval
  • Prepare material purchase orders and follow-up on materials ordered to ensure timely delivery
  • Support the Project Management Team, from preparing bids through project completion
