Position Summary:

PowerRise is seeking a highly organized and proactive entry level Project Management Assistant (PMA) to join our team supporting critical electric utility projects in our service territory. This Hybrid role plays a crucial part in the successful execution of projects by collaborating closely with Project Managers. You will be responsible for coordinating essential tasks, managing project documentation, tracking progress, and ensuring efficient communication among project teams and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:PROJECT COORDINATION & DOCUMENTATION:
  • Assist Project Managers in the creation, distribution, and maintenance of meeting agendas, detailed minutes, and presentations.
  • Diligently track and follow up on action items, ensuring timely completion and accountability.
  • Maintain comprehensive and organized project documentation, records, and filing systems (both electronic and physical).
  • Provide support in the development and maintenance of project schedules and timelines.
  • Assist with the preparation and formatting of project status reports, dashboards, and presentations for various audiences.
  • COMMUNICATION & STAKEHOLDER LIAISON:
  • Facilitate clear and timely communication between project team members, clients, vendors, and other stakeholders.
  • Assist in drafting, proofreading, and distributing projectrelated correspondence, emails, and formal communications.
  • Track, manage, and log important projectrelated communications and correspondence.
  • FINANCIAL & ADMINISTRATIVE SUPPORT:
  • Assist Project Managers with budget tracking, expense monitoring, and basic cost management tasks.
  • Review, process, and track vendor invoices, ensuring accuracy and adherence to project budgets.
  • Provide essential support for project closeout activities, including documentation archival and final reporting.
  • Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's or Associate's degree, preferably in Engineering, Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field.
  • 02 years of experience in an administrative, project support, or project coordination role, with a preference for experience within the electric utility, construction, or engineering industry.
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) is essential.
  • Working knowledge of Power BI or comparable data visualization and manipulation tools.
  • Excellent organizational and timemanagement skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a professional and courteous demeanor.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively within a team environment.
  • Must be able to work Hybrid within our service territory.
  • Preferred Qualifications:
  • Exposure to project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, PMBOK) e.g., through coursework, certification prep, or internships.
  • Basic knowledge of the electric utility industry and its operational or regulatory aspects.
  • Experience with document control systems.
  • Interest in pursuing CAPM or PMP certification.
  • Basic knowledge of Python or SQL for scripting or data manipulation.
