Job description

The Business Development Specialist role is an entry-level sales role designed for individuals with little to no prior B2B sales experience. This position is structured as a learning and development role โ€” you will have an assigned quota. At the same time, you are also learning how to meet and achieve assigned quota while building the foundational skills, habits, and knowledge that support a long-term sales career at TAGeX Brands. This position will work with โ€œmain streetโ€ clients โ€” to consult and sell aftermarket food and restaurant equipment-related services primarily small to medium-sized businesses โ€” and will engage with new and later as performance development evolves, warm leads under manager guidance.

Business Development Specialist is learning to uncover and can identify qualified opportunities through structured cold calling and warm lead follow-up. The emphasis is on building the habits of outreach, discovery, and pipeline activity that form the foundation of the TAGeX sales model. Demonstrate ability to facilitate standard transactional deals and become proficient in core TAGeX offerings. This role will be expected to engage with new, current, and past clients to uncover qualified and interested opportunities and sell TAGeX Services.

This role works within a closely managed territory under the direct supervision and daily coaching of the Sales Manager. All activity, process, and output is guided, reviewed, and corrected in real time as part of a structured onboarding progression. This role is not expected to fully operate independently. Success at this level is defined by coachability, activity consistency, and progressive skill development with steady movement toward goal achievement.

Base Salary + Unlimited Commissions!! On-Target-Earnings at the lowest level $ 65,000 for first year.ย
