Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Entry-Level Business Analyst to join our team. This position is ideal for entry level candidates and early-career professionals interested in building a career in business analysis, data analytics, and technology.

The Business Analyst will work with business stakeholders and technical teams to gather requirements, analyze business processes and data, prepare documentation, and support projects and data-driven business decisions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Gather, analyze, and document business requirements from stakeholders.

  • Translate business needs into functional requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.

  • Analyze business processes and identify opportunities for process improvement.

  • Prepare and maintain Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), functional requirements, process flows, and project documentation.

  • Analyze business and operational data using Microsoft Excel and SQL.

  • Assist with creating reports, dashboards, and KPI presentations using Power BI or Tableau.

  • Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), test case preparation, and requirement validation.

  • Track requirements, project activities, issues, action items, and deliverables.

  • Collaborate with Business Analysts, Developers, QA Engineers, Product Owners, and Project Managers.

  • Participate in Agile ceremonies, stakeholder meetings, and project discussions.

  • Perform ad hoc business and data analysis as required.

  • Present findings and recommendations to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Business Analytics, Information Systems, Computer Science, Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.

  • 0โ€“2 years of experience in Business Analysis, Data Analysis, Reporting, Operations, or a related area.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Good written and verbal communication skills.

  • Basic understanding of business analysis concepts and requirements gathering.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

  • Basic knowledge of SQL.

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

Preferred Skills
  • Familiarity with Power BI or Tableau.

  • Knowledge of JIRA and Confluence.

  • Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.

  • Basic understanding of SDLC.

  • Experience creating user stories, BRDs, FRDs, or process flow diagrams.

  • Knowledge of UAT and test documentation.

  • Basic Python knowledge is a plus.

  • Relevant internship, academic project, or certification in Business Analysis or Data Analytics is a plus.
