Description:
The Tread Athletics Data Department is looking for highly motivated interns to assist in the manual process of various performance related projects. The tasks include, but are not limited to, clipping video and tagging image locations. Interns will be required to hit a periodic quota of videos and/or frames during their period employed by Tread Athletics. In addition, interns will have the opportunity to contribute to advanced research and projects at an industry leading organization, while simultaneously collaborating with some of the industry's best minds in the field of baseball analytics and performance.
Requirements:
  • Access to laptop, mouse, and reliable internet
  • Ability to hit preset frame annotation quota each week (estimation of ~10-15 hours of work per week)
  • Ability to focus for extended periods of time on repetitive tasks
  • A drive to contribute to advancing the application of data science in baseball and athletic performance
