As a Cake Decorator at Holiday Market, you will play a key role in producing visually stunning, high-quality cakes and desserts while supporting the daily operations of our fast-paced bakery department. This position focuses on precision, creativity, and efficiency to ensure every product meets our standards for excellence and customer satisfaction.

Holiday Market is seeking entry-level cake decorators with at least 1–2 years of experience. This is a high-production environment where attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines are essential. We are currently hiring both full-time and part-time team members.

Key Responsibilities:

• Decorate cakes and desserts according to customer specifications and Holiday Market standards

• Assist with daily bakery production including baking, filling, icing, packaging, and labeling

• Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing workspace and display cases

• Follow recipes and production schedules to ensure timely completion of orders

• Provide excellent customer service, including handling custom cake orders and answering product questions

• Ensure all food safety, sanitation, and cleanliness standards are strictly followed

• Work collaboratively with the bakery team to meet production goals in a fast-paced environment

Qualifications:

• 1–2 years of experience in cake decorating or a similar role in a bakery environment

• Must have completed or be currently enrolled in a culinary arts program OR have equivalent hands-on bakery experience

• Ability to read and follow recipes accurately

• Strong attention to detail and creativity in cake design

• Ability to meet strict deadlines and handle multiple orders efficiently

• ServSafe certification preferred but not required (must follow all health and safety guidelines)

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods (8+ hours)

• Availability to work weekends and holidays, which are the busiest times at Holiday Market.
