Job Description

Accratronics is seeking a day shift Entry-Level Assembler to join the site Operations Team in our Assembly departments. This position will report to the site's Director of Operations or Glass Seal & Potting Manager and will be located in Burbank, CA.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Principal duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned dependent on the department. Day Shift is Monday - Friday, 6:00am - 4:30pm.

  • Potting department
    • Complete various adhesive potting applications
  • Deburring Department
    • Examine surfaces in order to find defects.
    • Remove defects and smooth uneven surfaces
    • Deburring, cleaning and removing sharp edges on product parts
  • Grinding Department
    • Work with HAAS machines to grind surface imperfections of parts
  • Deburring, cleaning and removing sharp edges on product parts
  • Work alongside floor supervisors and leads to adhere to production schedules on parts
  • Work alongside quality control personnel, concerning parts or jobs being worked on to maintain the highest quality assurance possible.
  • Train under department Lead to learn assembly functions

Requirements:

  • 0 - 2 years experience in deburring, potting, or aerospace machining setting.
  • Minimum High school education or equivalent. Machinist trade certification a plus.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • High level of attention to detail and ability to learn quickly.
  • Ability to communicate with others effectively in both written and verbal fashion.

Compensation:

  • Salary Range: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour. Minimum of ten (10) hours of over-time available weekly. Salary is determined by the applicant's education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
