Job description

Anova, the market leader in Industrial IoT solutions, is seeking a Temporary Assembler to join our production team in Blair, Nebraska. Join our growing Global Production Team and bring your unique experience to a collaborative and rewarding work environment.
This is a 90-day temporary position with the potential to transition into a permanent role depending on business needs. It's a great way to contribute your skills, gain experience, and be part of a supportive, team-oriented environment.
Compensation: This position has a compensation rate of $19 an hour
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Function as part of an operations team focused on pick and pack as well as the assembly of electromechanical devices.
  • Work in a fast-paced environment working independently with minimal instruction after training period.
  • Pulls and packs or repacks product based on daily orders
  • Requires an attention to detail to completes customer orders accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Keeps materials and products separated and organized.
  • Monitors product quality and reports quality issues
  • Operates various assembly equipment (i.e. solder or potting equipment)
  • Utilizes continuous improvement mindset and assists in identifying opportunities to improve processes.
  • Follows good operations practices and required work safe practices.
  • Maintains a clean, sanitary, and safe work area.
  • Able to work within constraints according to standard assembly cycle times.
  • Regular and predictable attendance and punctuality with the ability to work overtime as required with reasonable advanced notification.

What you'll need to succeed:
Minimum Requirements -
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to work well in a team environment
  • Good hand-eye coordination and hand dexterity and proven proficiency and skill in operating a variety of equipment for use of basic hand tools, tape measures, blueprints, schematics, etc.
  • Ability to complete tasks efficiently and within constraints while adhering to all company procedures and safety guidelines
  • Ability to multi-task and handle competing responsibilities
  • Understands sense of urgency and can meet deadlines while adhering to quality standards
  • Must be 18 years of age or older

Physical Requirements -
  • Ability to work while standing or being seated for up to 8 hours with daily breaks, sustaining repetitive motions and performing repetitive lifting up to 25 lbs. unassisted
