FarnsworthGroup is seeking a Landscape Architectural Associate – Entry Level in the below posting locations. In this role, you will support landscape architecture projects from concept through construction, working on a diverse portfolio that includes public spaces, private developments, parks, campuses, and more.

Posting Location: Peoria, IL

What You’ll Do:
  • Assisting with the planning, design, bidding, and construction administration of projects.
  • Preparing conceptual sketches, technical drawings, and presentation materials.
  • Supporting the Project Landscape Architect with proposals, cost estimates, specifications, and reports.
  • Participating in client, contractor, and project team meetings.
  • Performing site observation and construction administration tasks.
  • Delivering work that is accurate, timely, and reflective of Farnsworth’s high standards.
What You’ll Need: Education & Experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Landscape Architecture from an accredited program.
  • 0–3 years of related professional experience.
Technical Skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Experience using AutoCAD for drafting.
  • Knowledge of plant materials including trees, shrubs, and perennials.
  • Preferred knowledge of Adobe Suite.
  • Interest in learning or expanding skills in 3D design and graphics software.
Personal Attributes
  • Strong work ethic and self-motivation.
  • Effective communication—verbal, written, and visual.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Eagerness to learn, grow, and pursue licensure.
