Job description

Job Summary:
Total Quality Logistics is a leading logistics company, and they are seeking a Collaboration Architect to oversee the architecture and governance of enterprise collaboration platforms. The role involves partnering with various IT teams to ensure secure and efficient communication across the organization while setting strategic direction for collaboration technologies.
Responsibilities:
• Define and maintain the enterprise hybrid Microsoft 365 collaboration architecture, covering messaging, meetings, voice, content sharing and productivity services
• Establish and maintain platform roadmaps aligned with business growth, security requirements and infrastructure strategy
• Evaluate new collaboration technologies and make recommendations on adoption, deprecation or consolidation
• Design platforms that balance usability, reliability, scalability, security and cost efficiency
• Own end-to-end collaboration platform architecture, including identity and access integration, network dependencies, high availability and disaster recovery
• Partner with infrastructure teams to ensure platforms meet enterprise standards for uptime, monitoring and supportability
• Define and enforce governance standards related to usage policies, lifecycle management, retention and compliance
• Collaborate closely with Security and Identity teams to ensure secure authentication models, regulatory compliance and proper auditability
• Establish guardrails that enable productivity while reducing risk and platform sprawl
• Support operational models including support tiers, escalation paths and service ownership
• Lead initiatives focused on platform standardization, technical debt reduction and legacy tool rationalization
• Provide architectural guidance during incidents, outages and significant service events
• Act as a technical authority and advisor to IT leadership and stakeholders
• Translate business collaboration needs into scalable, durable infrastructure designs
• Mentor engineers and contribute to enterprise standards, patterns and best practices
Qualifications:
Required:
• 8+ years of IT experience with direct ownership of enterprise email and collaboration platforms
• Strong hands-on expertise with Microsoft 365 collaboration technologies
• Proven experience designing and supporting large-scale, highly available enterprise platforms
• Deep understanding of Exchange Hybrid architecture, mail routing, identity and access management, security and compliance controls and infrastructure fundamentals
• Advanced PowerShell scripting skills
• Experience operating within large, complex enterprise environments
Preferred:
• Experience with collaboration platform governance, information lifecycle management and compliance models
• Background partnering with legal, compliance and risk teams
• Experience supporting enterprise architecture or platform modernization initiatives
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Experience with Proofpoint email security
• Relevant Microsoft certifications (MS-102, SC-300, MS-700, AZ-900)
